DR CELESTE CHIAM

As a trained ballet dancer for 16 years, Celeste experienced love at first sight with the music and dance of Argentine tango. She discovered the Bay area tango community in 2016, joined the L.O.F.T ensemble (La Orquesta Fusion Tango), later became the pianist for the Tangonero band, and currently performs occasionally with the Orquesta Tipica Domo.

Celeste received coaching from highly esteemed tango musicians, namely Pablo Estigarribia, Gustavo Casenave, Adrian Enriquez, Nicolas Ledesma, Emilio Solla, and Hector Del Curto to refine her skills. Celeste is captivated by this unique genre where passion leads the way and solid rhythmic structure holds the frame for liberal expressions. She embraces the fervor of this immersive style, resigning her trained fingers to revel in the adventurous rides on the piano keys, Argentinian style.
